Overview

Parking lot lighting has utilized the same foundation for decades. Although light poles have evolved into supports for cameras, solar panels, WiFi and digital displays, the pole base itself has remained as nothing more than a solid block of concrete. To add these amenities, property owners have had no option, other than to bolt-on unsightly storage boxes, which often compromise the integrity of their light poles, and the beauty of their parking lots.

IPB recognized the need for a smarter, more eye appealing storage option, and set out to create a solution

Parking lot lighting has utilized the same foundation for decades. While light poles now include other technologies such as cameras, solar panels, and WIFI, the pole base has remained a solid block of concrete. In current situations, property owners add unsightly boxes to the poles, which damages the structure of the light pole. IPB recognized this issue, and the growing need for storing technology, and set out to create a solution.

EV Charging Stations

Single or Multiple (up to 4) EV Chargers can be installed at each IPB. Parking Lots can now be converted into Destination Areas for Electric Vehicles. Installing IPB’s today, can Future-Proof parking lots and provide easy EV-Charging station expansion to meet future Regulatory Charging Station Requirements. IPB’s also provide an expandable platform to support $/KWh Charging Revenue Generation growth.

Digital Displays

IPB’s allow digital displays to be prominently positioned throughout an entire parking lot, shopping center, campus, etc. Displays can be used for special events, retail advertising, discounts, coupons, etc.
The IPB Digital Display System can also provide virtually instant digital signage override to communicate vital safety information.

Electrical Outlets

The Intelligent Pole Base creates a weatherproof housing offering flexibility, power, and add-on options, IPB’s are also available with pre-mounted Internal and/or External receptacles to provide on-demand power availability for maintenance, special events, and countless other power demands.

Battery Storage

IPB allows for charger/inverter and storage battery options to provide emergency power in the event of a power failure and can also provide temporary egress lighting if a failure occurs at night.
